BARAKA targets vulnerable children who are orphans or come from families living in extreme poverty. Children are cared for in a loving, nurturing environment. They are given an opportunity to grow up as healthy, happy, spiritually fulfilled, contributing members of their communities.

Baraka ensures the children’s safety, provides secure shelter, promotes healthy living habits, increases literacy, develops life skills and reverses cycles of violence, abuse, and neglect. These ideals are core values for building sustainable futures.

With compassion and respect, Baraka seeks to improve the quality of life and offer hope to vulnerable individuals and families through physical and emotional support.

Baraka fosters dignity and respect for people who live in poverty or sickness in one of the poorest countries in the world, Tanzania. Baraka Community Care provides practical, emotional and spiritual care for orphans and children who live in poverty.

Baraka also seeks to support other vulnerable people such as single women supporting families, frail seniors and others with illness or conditions which limit their ability to provide an income for themselves and others who depend on them.
